Individuals with autism and other sensory processing disabilities connect to their environment through their senses. This book provides information on sensory processing, assessment tools, and evidence-based interventions. Checklists and practicable forms are included to assist readers with supporting individuals across environments and throughout the entire day. This book study is designed with one virtual face-to-face session via Zoom followed by an online self-paced learning course with discussions and activities in a professional learning community. Day one will entail 1) making connections to establish a professional learning community; 2) an introduction and technical assistance with Schoology learning management system, and 3) an overview of sensory processing issues. You will need access to a device with internet connectivity to participate in the required virtual session. This course has the option of graduate credit or additional contact hours upon completion of the online assignments. The first 25 to register will receive the book at no charge!
